[ Dion, Greagor bless him, can only watch and wonder where Jill's gone in that thoughtful pause. He has to chuckle because surely, whomever Jill is thinking of, it's not someone Dion is also friendly with. The city's far too big. ]
[ Dion, all too tellingly, goes still. So much so that Eidunn's head pivots, fixing on the dragoon and giving a questioning chirp. The sound snaps him out of it, his shoulders straightening that much more and his smile struggling not to stray into horrified embarrassment. ]
