That gets him up with a start, his eyes snapping open. He leans to his side, just enough to roll his weight off her. Oops.

Thank the Founder. Jill quickly slips out of the bed and goes into their bathroom.

It's a loud piss. She really had to go. Luckily, after so much time on the road with Clive, she's not particularly shy about this bodily function. By the time she's finished, flushes, and washes her hands, she's stepping out of the bathroom with a sigh and flopping back onto the bed.

That was close.

He’s not so sure he always likes these porcelain toilets, listening to that with a headache, but when she returns to him he puts an arm around her waist and drags her back to him without any preamble, her back to his chest.

“I wouldn’t have minded if you went right here,” he mumbles.

"Oh, hush," Jill laughs softly, arms resting atop his, fingers tracing the back of his hand. "I was only gone a minute."

He rests his chin on the top of her head and presses his knees into the backs of hers.

“It felt much longer,” he says. “But I suppose you sounded fit to burst.”

It did feel much longer. Especially with all that piss.

"Heard that, did you? Believe me, I wouldn't have gotten out of bed unless it were urgent. You're so warm."

“You’ll struggle to find another excuse to leave me,” he murmurs, pleased. “I thought you were merely tired of me crushing you.”

She hums, eyes closed as she enjoys the warmth of his chest against her back.

"Never. I would have stayed there forever, had my body not betrayed me."

"Then I suppose we can make up for lost time..."

One of his hands idly roves down her ribs to settle between her legs, just holding her.

"Oh?" She chuckles under her breath. "You said you wanted your wife last night. What happened?"

"Did I?" No idea what she's talking about. He breathes in her scalp.

"Do you remember coming home and coming to bed, Clive?"

He was so cute. She doesn't mind if that memory is hers alone.

“More or less,” he says. He can’t imagine it was much different from any other night after a few drinks. “Don’t I have my wife?”

He’s holding her right now, after all.

[noburden]

"You do. And she's very happy to not feel the morning chill."

Impossible when he radiates warmth.

"There is no chill in our house," he murmurs, and he lazily runs a finger along the seam of her panties.

[noburden]

"Not when you're home," she corrects. She also nestles her ass against him, sighing. "These are my favorite mornings."

[rosarianoath]

"Mine too," he says, and he nuzzles his nose into her hair as she fits herself tighter against him. His fingers rest on the elastic of her panties, on the edge of slipping inside. "May I...?

[noburden]

"If you're feeling up to task. You're awake?" She asks as she runs her fingers up and down his arm. She thought he might want to curl back up and sleep until the sun was higher in the sky.

"Barely," he says, but it doesn't matter: something else is quickly being roused from an alcohol-soaked slumber. He kisses her scalp and slips his fingers under the fabric to gently stroke her with thick fingers.

She moves a leg back to hook over his, making room for his hand.

"I'm glad you still desire me even when you're barely awake. I'm lucky."

"It's rare to not desire you."

He slips a finger between her lips, still slow, still lazy.

"Especially these days, hmm?"

Now that they're determined to be together and share this bed.

"Now that there isn't anything between us," he says, and it doesn't occur to him until right then to glance over his shoulder and check that their bedroom door is closed. Safe. He exhales slowly.

She feels that glancd and can't help but double check herself.

They both know why. Jill laughs once she sets her head back down.

"No accidents."

"Yes," he says, "no accidents."

He slips a finger just inside her.
